Are You Prepared for the New Lead Trainer Requirements in 2024?
If you want to be a trainer, and you don’t have the E-RYT 500 designation yet, you’ll want to watch today’s video where we talk about what it all means.
We met with our account rep at Yoga Alliance (YA) this week and left feeling nervous about what she said.
First, she was adamant that all RYS 200 lead trainers would need the E-RYT 500 designation by 2024.
Second, she said YA will add MORE lead trainer requirements, more than the E-RYT 500 designation. YA will announce the details in the spring.
We didn’t get enough info to break the news, but we’ll share a little more about what we learned in our next live Webinar on March 21.
Maybe Yoga Alliance will have made the announcement and we’ll have all the details to discuss.
Did You Spot the Loophole?
Did you catch the part in the video where we talk about the loophole that lets you get qualified to teach a 200 Hour Training by teaching a 200 Hour training?
These loopholes will only exist till 2024 when the new requirements kick in.
Yes, that’s the bizarre world of Yoga Alliance credentials!
Time to Check Your Credentials or Risk Not Qualifying
If you are a lead trainer, it’s time to check your designation.
You need the E-RYT 500 designation to teach the 200 Hour Training in 2024!
Watch the video to get more info, we’d love to hear what you think of it all in the comments.
