We want to stay consistent with the newsletter for our yoga business. If communicating for your business is something you think about too, I share our methods with you today.
We do a weekly newsletter about being a yoga trainer, but you could choose monthly or even more frequently depending on what works for your situation.
How We Come Up with Newsletter Topics
How do we come up with newsletter topics for Ambassador Yoga? We look for them as we go about our business and write them down when we find an idea.
For instance, we have a new Registered Yoga School (RYS) using the Ambassador Yoga 200-hour Training in Portugal. In our Discovery Calls with them, they asked us what sets this 200 Hour Training apart from all the others. Our answers will turn into 3 ideas for newsletters.
Another RYS owner asked for a video of us introducing ourselves and our Yoga Philosophy teacher, Parampreet Singh.
This topic is now on our agenda.
When I look in Facebook Groups for yoga teachers, I look for ideas for our newsletter.
All this to say, once you start looking for newsletter ideas you will start to see them everywhere.
But here’s the biggest tip about it: You’ve got to have a system to write them down immediately!
You Need to Have a System for Your Newsletters
It’s necessary for you to have a system to write your newsletter ideas. If you don’t, those ideas will go back into hiding when you sit down to write your newsletter.
My system for lassoing ideas is to keep post-it notes on my desk and have the Trello app on my phone. There are many other ways, so use whatever works for you.
