It’s really easy as yoga teachers and entrepreneurs to think we have to do everything ourselves. So many people tell us they feel like a one-person show and that’s why the Yoga Trainer Fast Track was created. We know that working ON your business and IN your business at the same time is difficult and exhausting.
We are big fans of collaboration and rely heavily on reliable resources that we can count on to give us trusted business advice and, in the case of our last meeting with Shannon Crow, make us laugh.
The Connected Yoga Teacher and Ambassador Yoga Collaboration
Shannon is the founder and host of the Connected Yoga Teacher Podcast and Facebook group. Thousands of yoga teachers look to Shannon’s work for industry insights and relevant information about hot topics within the yoga community.
Shannon also serves as a business coach and asked us a valuable question that I think all of us trying to do it alone should consider. She said, ‘Is your message clear?’
It’s a good point because when we are too close to our offerings it’s easy for our message to get lost. We plan and promote repeatedly, but does your audience really know what you do and why you do it?
We found it helpful to get a second set of eyes on the work that we’re doing, and Shannon listed 3 hilarious examples of times it truly makes sense to collaborate and let go of the need to do it alone.
We were talking in regards to writing a manual and developing a curriculum vs buying one. Shannon brought up some playful and funny analogies that made us laugh.
Get Help for Your Yoga Teacher Training
If adding Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) to your offerings is the next step in your yoga business and you know the manual and Yoga Alliance application are the obstacles, get in touch.
We’ve helped so many yoga teachers get their YTT off the ground quickly and easily because we’ve dedicated ourselves to understanding what Yoga Alliance wants and what students expect.
Don’t lose any more students to other studios and stop watching that YTT revenue walks out the door.
