I come from a yoga style that did not allow only one trainer to lead a teacher training, there always had to be at least two trainers. Which meant students got more than one perspective.
The 40 hours of online training were inspired by this notion. When Parampreet Singh came on board to teach Indian Philosophy, we knew this would bring added value to the training. Students could learn philosophy from someone who grew up in the culture of Indian wisdom. It would be an opportunity for students to absorb the philosophy in a deeper way.
A Belief Backed Up by Yogic Philosophy
Take, for instance, the meaning of Purusha and Prakriti. Parampreet explains it here in relation to something I hope every teacher holds as a core belief: that every body can do yoga.
Every person, no matter what their shape, size or identity, can do yoga.
This is backed up by yogic philosophy. Have you ever heard Purusha and Prakriti explained quite like this?
You can give your students the opportunity to experience new trainers while they learn the majority of the training with you, someone they already know, like and trust. This creates a robust offering for your teacher training.
It’s an added value that tips the scales towards your training.
